Not long until Tuesday October 7th 2014 and the start of our new season.
John Taylor Programme Secretary has excelled himself yet again in putting together a quality programme of speakers for our enjoyment including some old familiar faces and others less so!
We’ll look back in time, visit places near and far, delight in some quirky topics and no doubt enjoy some surprises en route.
For those who haven’t looked the Annals for last year and the Minutes of the 2014 A.G.M. are on the Forum Website for viewing.
Sadly during the summer season we lost a long-standing, well liked and respected member Bill Blades an ex Chairman and stalwart of the kitchen refreshment team–he’ll be missed!!
Two things for members to ponder for the new season–additional support needed for the kitchen team and we also need a second Vice Chairman with a view to being Chairman in 2016–2017. Please consider and make your interest known to myself or John Taylor…..and looking forward to seeing you all at 10a.m. Tuesday October 7th 2014.
