CHAIRMAN’S WELCOME: I look forward to welcoming our members, old and new for the 2016/2017 season. We shall be celebrating our 40th year of activities at the Forum and have an interesting and varied range of Speakers arranged by John Taylor to look forward to, plus a new entertainment which I hope you will enjoy. There is a dedicated team of officers who work hard behind the scenes. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them personally and on your behalf. I hope you enjoy the coming year.
Tuesday October 4th sees the start of our 40th season…a right Ruby celebration!!
Hope you’re all in good spirits after a mixed summer weather wise and without mentioning the Euro 2016 Championships.
Subscription costs remain unchanged and what was great value last year becomes even better value going forward.
Personal recommendation remains our best recruiter to the cause and I will issue an extra Programme card for you to pass to a neighbour, friend or relation who might wish to join us!!
Hoping then to see you at our first meeting on October 4th, 10a.m. for 1030a.m.
